Developer had arrived at Haig Road this time and has acquired the freehold residential site for S$49.3 million.
According to Colliers their sole marketing agent, the sale price is more than the owners’ asking price of S$48 million.
Touching on the buyer information, Nanshan Group, the developer of Stirling Residences and Thomson Impressions was the successful bidder.
For the 27,389 square feet property with a gross plot ratio of 1.4, the sale price corresponds to a land rate of S$1,286 psf ppr. There is no development fee to pay.
The corner property with dual frontages on Haig Road and Seraya Lane is a regular-shaped redevelopment site.
“This site has generated a lot of interest since it is a unique enclave that is ideally placed,” said John Bin of Colliers Singapore who added that the freehold property was seen to a number of potential bidders.
“Eventually, we were able to acquire a price that was more than the owners’ reserve price.”

The Haig Road enbloc site that comprises of 24 apartments in 4-storey block, is located at 173/A/B/C – 183/A/B/C Haig Road, district 15 of Singapore.
The district 15 is a popular one which many new launches had enjoyed great success.
There are many amenities and good schools that surrounded the redevelopment site.
For shopping and dining, just to name a few, I12 Katong, Katong Shopping Centre, Kinex and Parkway Parade are close to the en bloc site.
List of good schools are found in the area are Tanjong Katong Girls’, Tanjong Katong Primary, Chung Cheng High School, Canadian International and Haig Girls’ School.
Tanjong Katong Road, Mountbatten Road, (ECP) East Coast Parkway and the Kallang-Paya Lebar Expressway all connect to the location.
Market watcher expressed that there will be more sites that will be picked up by the developers in the next coming weeks, as their inventory now are extremely low.
