The Land Acquisition Fever Continue in Singapore…

Owners of Ji Liang Gardens rejoiced as a buyer picked their site and submitted their bid at tender closing on 15 June 2021.

This is their first attempt at collective sale via tender and were thrilled at the tender result announced by PropNex Singapore, their marketing agent.

Reasonably priced and well-located en bloc sites will always appeal to any developer, said Tracy Goh, Head of Investment and Collective Sales at PropNex.

The Ji Liang Gardens site is located in a well-established residential enclave with abundance of amenities within the popular District 15,

It is also near the park connector and proximity to Eunos MRT, upcoming Marine Terrace and Marine Parade station.

Since all 6 owners have endorsed the sale cohesively, a sale order from strata title board is not needed.

This collective sale success demonstrates the ongoing interest in residential land acquisition in Singapore, notwithstanding the strong underlying demand for private dwellings and the market’s shrinking unsold supply.

The district 15 is getting popular and has become a hot zone with 3 recent successful collective sales.

In late December 2020, the combine site at Lorong N Telok Kurau was acquired for $23.6 million after a buyer was found.

The Malacca Hotel site at 97 & 99 Still Road was sold around April 2021.

Ji Liang Gardens site is the latest to join the successful list.
